Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 September 2026

This Privacy Policy sets out how All About Health ("we", "us", "the blog") handles information when you visit the site and, above all, when you send a message through the contact form. The short version is that we keep things minimal on purpose. This is an educational blog rather than a shop, and we ask for as little as possible to do one straightforward job: read what you send and reply where a reply is needed. Please read this policy together with our Cookie Policy, Terms of Use and Disclaimer.

Who we are

All About Health is an independent blog about everyday healthy living — food, movement, sleep, water and habits — written in plain language. We publish articles for general information and provide a contact form for questions, topic suggestions, feedback and collaboration enquiries. We do not sell products, we do not operate advertising networks, and we do not build marketing profiles of the people who read us.

What information we collect

Two kinds of information can come into play when you use this site, and the difference between them matters.

Information you choose to give us

When you complete the contact form, you decide to send us your name, your email address, an optional topic category, and the message itself. That is the entire list. We ask for your name so any reply can be personal, your email so we can actually respond, and your message so we understand what you are asking. The topic dropdown is optional and only helps us sort enquiries. Please do not include sensitive personal details in a message — there is no need, and we would prefer you did not.

Information collected automatically

As with most websites, the server hosting this blog may keep ordinary technical logs — such as the type of request made and the time it happened — as part of normal running and basic security. We do not use those logs to identify individual readers, and we do not join them up with your contact-form details. The Cookie Policy explains how we handle cookies and similar technologies, which on this blog is deliberately minimal.

Why we use your information

We use the details from the contact form for a single purpose: to read your message and reply to it, or to weigh up a topic you have suggested. We may keep a message on record so we have a note of the conversation and can follow up sensibly. We do not use your email to send newsletters or promotions, and we will not add you to any mailing list merely because you got in touch.

The legal basis

Where data-protection law asks for a legal basis, ours is simple. By submitting the form you are asking us to get in touch, so we process your details to answer that request and because it is in our legitimate interest to reply to people who write to us. You are never required to use the form; if you prefer, email us directly instead.

How long we keep it

We hold contact messages only for as long as they are genuinely useful — typically while a conversation is live and for a reasonable spell afterwards in case you follow up. Once a message serves no further purpose, we delete it. If you would like yours removed sooner, just ask and we will see to it.

Who can see your information

Messages sent through the form are read by the small team behind the blog and by no one else. We do not sell, rent or trade your information. The only outside parties that might come into contact with it are the service providers who keep the site running — for instance our hosting provider, whose servers store the site and receive the form submission. Those providers act on our instructions and are not allowed to use your information for their own ends. We may also disclose information where the law genuinely requires it, but that is an exception, not part of the routine.

How we protect it

We take reasonable, sensible measures to keep your information safe, including limiting who can read incoming messages and relying on hosting arrangements that follow standard security practices. No method of sending information over the internet is ever perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we treat what you send with care and do not keep more of it than we need.

Your choices and rights

You stay in control of what you share. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask what information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it is wrong, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. Because we collect so little, acting on these requests is usually quick. To use any of them, contact us with the details below and tell us what you would like.

Children

This blog is written for a general adult audience and is not aimed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the form, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example if the way the contact form works changes. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of the page, and any significant change will be made clear on the site. Continuing to use the blog after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Contact us

If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or about how your information is handled, please write to us at [email protected] or use the contact form. We are happy to explain anything that is unclear.
